Disciples of Naaldine must embody peace and tranquility. For those who follow this path even during war time they must be able to maintain peace without sacrificing their vows. Through discipline one may master the way of the gentle palm. This style allows a person to defend themselves and others without the need of excessive force.
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, whenever you deal a blow that would reduce a sentient creature to 0 hp you can choose instead they are paralyzed for 10 minutes or until you release them from the paralysis. Additionally you gain the ability to cast sanctuary as a reaction by spending 1 ki point. The saving throw for this casting is 8+prof mod+wis
At 6th level, when a creature you protect using your casting of Sanctuary is either hit or attempted to be hit by an attack that targets them, no effect on AOE, you can force that creature to make an additional wisdom saving throw which if failed causes them to take psychic damage equal to half the damage they would have dealt instead. This causes the creatures mind to either empathize with the creature they attack or be wracked with guilt for attempting to harm them. This ability can only be used once per turn.
Beginning at 11th level, As part of your reaction when casting sanctuary, you may teleport to a creature you are casting it on. Additionally you may also target an additional creature with your sanctuary.
At 17th level, your discipline to Naaldine reaches its pinnacle. As an action you can create a 10 Radius' zone surrounding you of tranquility. Effects that deal damage cast into this zone and attacks require a 8 + prof mod + Wis Wisdom saving throw or they are either dispelled or have no effect. Your attacks are not affected by this zone. The effect lasts for 1 minute and may be used once per long rest.
